When we develop mobile apps or websites, our users can interact with them using a large selection of devices, but there is one that is often ignored: the TV. The television is the biggest screen in our users home, and thanks to Google Cast our apps can leverage these displays to show more content, without even the need for a dedicated app running on it.


In this talk I gave at Devfest Veneto 2019, I showed the main concept behind Google Cast, seeing how it can be used to to create a more central, prominent space for the most important content of your service.
